Hi there! This is the place I am to tell you about us, it is hard to leave the dogs out since they are a major part of our lives but I will try.  Let me just start by saying a little about our breed ethics.

We strive to bring an Intelligent, Quality, Healthy pet to your home with fantastic temperament and personality. Because of this, we feel, very strongly that you can not excessively inner breed your bloodlines closely. Yes this does multiply the good qualities but it also magnifies the bad. I know this is the way most show breeders get that one great show dog in a litter but we want ALL our pups to be GREAT.. PETS that is! Not just one or two with the health & temperament we are striving for. We find that by closely watching what is bred to what, we can produce a great temperament healthy lifelong pet that will be with your family for years to come.

I  grew up on a farm, raising all types of animals, from rabbits, chickens, ducks, and mice (yes MICE… EKKK I hate them now but as a kid, well you know, we all think we know it all until we grow up) to Sheep, horses, cows, and pigs. We had a little of  everything, even puppies at any given time. My mother used to tell people that if I did not have a pet to play with I would have made a pet out of a fence post. *HA HA* About 20 years ago, right after high school my parents needed my help on the farm and I moved back to be close enough to help. Right after that I got my first “registered” dog & with much research and searching I decided to start raising a quality, healthy pet for others to enjoy. I  started raising puppies about 18 years ago, possibly longer since time does seem to fly! I have met some GREAT families and people over the years. Alan became a part of all our lives many many years ago. He fell in love with my four legged babies as I did his four legged "kids" and the rest is history. His passion is the Bichons and mine the Shih Tzu's though I do most the puppy care, it must be the mother in me & I do most the sales. He has the hard work, the repairs, remodeling, all the things that I feel need to be done. We often spend extra time wtih our pups and family so the site is sparce on additional pictures and such at times.

Alan & I have been blessed with two beautiful children. Our daughter is 27 months old & our son is 17 months old. Yes they are a little close, okay really close in age & people always ask me if I planned it that way. Well being adopted you do rather plan it but no, I did not expect to click with another birth mother that soon. We believe God does not hand you anything you can not handle but some days I do have to question that *laughs*

I work from home full time so I am lucky & can be with the dogs and children all day. I have never missed a birth or a first snuggle.  We help on my family farm as well. It is only 160 acres but enough to give everyone room to run and way to much room when it is time to mow the 5 + acre lawn.  My work is mostly on line so it can be done at any hour of the day or night and I ship out items I sell.  Alan was good enough to help me build a new warehouse this fall right beside my house so everything can be done from home now, no running into the warehouse in town, in the middle of the night to work around the kids & Alans sleep time.

Alan is a beekeeper. Which means he produces honey with the bee’s he tends. It keeps him busy all spring, summer and early fall. This is his profession, not just a hobby as some beekeepers are. He ran about 1400 hives this last year which kept him hopping. The bee’s are sent to California every winter since it is to cold here for them to survive. They are needed to pollinate the Almond tree’s in northern California so in a way he is helping to produce that too. The good thing is, they survive the winter, the bad thing is, Alan has to go to California at least 3 times between Mid Dec and Mid  April and stay for 2 to 6 weeks at a time. It was awesome when  we were small enough to go along but now it is impossible for us to all go. Alan hates to miss out on the new additions that are born and the new things the kids do so I send him pictures via email almost daily & we burn up the phone lines.

Because of our joining, we have added some new females and males just recently so you are sure to see a few extra pups then what we normally would have. They were adults & are adjusting well & loving all their free space & the kids.
We are also considering adding Yorkshire Terriers but this is all still in the planning stages and though I have found exactly what I want, I have yet to commit to much to anything.
